Here are the problem rates for vehicles in the first three years of ownership, as reported to J.D. Power and Associates by U.S. owners of domestic and foreign vehicle brands. It's a report card on 2002 models, essentially, in which the number after the brand name is the problem rate per hundred vehicles over three years. The lowest score is the best grade.
