Obama's ambassadors
Of the 41 ambassadors President Barack Obama has nominated during his second term, 37 have yet to be confirmed. More than half of those awaiting confirmation are political appointees with little foreign service experience, including nine who bundled more than $500,000 each for Obama's presidential campaigns.
