Here's a case Gastonia, N.C., police are trying to bust — the theft of $7,200 worth of bras Saturday afternoon from the Victoria's Secret store at the Eastridge Mall.
Police say managers at the store reported about 150 bras missing, at an average cost of $48. The bras were of various styles, police say.
The theft was reported Saturday evening, but managers said it happened sometime late Saturday afternoon. It is not clear how someone was able to steal 150 bras during regular business hours, but a manager told police that someone entered the store about 4:30 p.m. and took the bras.
