The body of a 26-year-old woman visiting from California earlier this week was found burned to death in a trash bin in North Miami.
Paula Sladewski was positively identified through dental records, police said.
About 9 p.m. Sunday, someone spotted the flaming trash bin in the 1400 block of Northeast 130th Street and ran to a fire station for help.
After Miami-Dade Fire Rescue extinguished the blaze, her body was found ``burned beyond recognition,'' said Lt. Neal Cuevas, a North Miami police spokesman.
There was nothing else in the trash bin.
Sladewski had been staying on Miami Beach with her boyfriend, Cuevas said.
Over the weekend, the couple went to Club Space in Miami.
Her boyfriend told police the two got separated at the club. He reported her missing Monday to Miami police. He also called local hospitals and the medical examiner's office.
