Four days after sending a letter to his tenants to pay up or they'd be evicted, a college professor ended up stabbed to death in his own home.
Now, a father and son both face charges in the brutal murder of their landlord.
And it's a second son who told Plantation police his father confessed to him the gory details of the killing.
Last Tuesday morning -- hours after Nova Southeastern University professor Joseph Morrissey, 46, was stabbed to death and his home set on fire -- Shawn Tundidor said he woke up to overhear something about a murder in Plantation.
It was his older brother, Randy Tundidor Jr., 21, watching the news. Usually, all Randy cared about was getting his crack cocaine, Shawn Tundidor said. But that morning, his brother was especially nervous.
Shawn followed his brother as he walked outside to smoke a cigarette, and asked if he had anything to do with the murder on TV.
``Go ask Dad,'' was Randy's reply, according to a probable cause affidavit given to The Miami Herald by the attorney representing Randy Tundidor Jr.
