HARRISON COUNTY — A man held at gunpoint for about 3 1/2 hours wrote a note asking for help on the back of a check and a bank teller called police, sheriff's Capt. Carl Rhodes said.
The victim, a 52-year-old man, had prepared an income tax return for one of three people arrested later Wednesday night, Rhodes said.
Detectives believe Tiffany JoLee Hill lured the man to a home in the 14200 block of John Clark Road to discuss complaints about her refund, the detective said.
