WICHITA — Alert nursing home employees foiled an attempted abduction Sunday morning, police said today.
Two women went to the Wichita Nursing Home at 2840 S. Hillside about 9 a.m. Sunday and attempted to sign out an 80-year-old patient and his prescription medication, police said.
Because the women were not on the list of people approved to take the patient with them, their request was denied. They then left.
