32-year-old Enumclaw, Washington, woman was seriously burned Saturday while trying to steal copper from a Puget Sound Energy electrical substation, according to the King County Sheriff’s Office.
PSE crews were called to the substation in the 41900 block of 180th Avenue Southeast about 5:30 a.m. to check on a power outage.
The woman was found inside the fenced area. She was flown to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with life-threatening injuries.
