Pulitzer Prize-winning editorial cartoonist Doug Marlette was killed in a single-car accident Tuesday morning, July 10, 2007, in Mississippi, authorities said. He was 57. Marlette was the editorial cartoonist for The Tulsa World. He won a Pulitzer in 1988 for cartoons he drew for The Charlotte Observer and Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
