A former Argentine naval lieutenant wanted on an international arrest warrant for his alleged role in a 1972 massacre of political prisoners in Argentina has been living in Miami and running a business that does contract work for the U.S. Air Force.
Former Naval Lt. Roberto Guillermo Bravo runs RGB Group Inc., a consulting firm that specializes in contracting medical and paramedic personnel abroad, among other activities. The U.S. Air Force awarded RGB Group Inc., and another firm, a multi-year $27 million contract 10 years ago for orthodontists and dental assistants to staff 26 air bases.
Bravo, 65, is accused of participating in the 1972 execution of 16 leftist guerrillas at Argentina's naval base Admiral Zar. The rebels turned themselves in to authorities after an unsuccessful prison escape.
