Miami-area woman found in N.Y. crane collapse rubble

Authorities Monday afternoon said a final victim — believed to be a 28-year-old woman from Hialeah, Fla. — has been pulled from the rubble at a New York City crane collapse site, bringing the total number of dead to seven.

The woman was reported to be Odin Torres, who split her time between New York and a single-story white home on West 77th Place in Hialeah, according to family friends who answered the door there Monday.

She had gone to New York over the weekend to be with best friend John Gallego, who lives next to where the crane collapsed at 303 E. 51st St. in New York's East Side.
