An Iranian national and his company pleaded guilty Monday to charges of conspiring to export military aircraft parts to Iran in violation of a U.S. arms embargo.
Hassan Saied Keshari, a naturalized U.S. citizen from California, and his corporation, Kesh Air International, entered the pleas in Miami federal court before U.S. District Judge Patricia Seitz.
Sentencing is scheduled for April 8.
Charges are still pending against two remaining defendants, Traian Bujduveanu of Plantation and his corporation, Orion Aviation Corp.
Both men and their companies were charged in July with illegally providing U.S.-made military aircraft parts to Iranian buyers.
Prosecutors say the men bought and sold the parts in the United States and then illegally shipped them to Iran through the United Arab Emirates.
The men face between five and 20 years in prison if convicted.
