Super Typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda), a category-5 storm, has killed three people and displaced at least one million as it crossed the Philippines. "The super typhoon likely made landfall with winds near 195 mph. This makes Haiyan the strongest tropical cyclone on record to make landfall," meteorologist Jeff Masters told Reuters.
