Naked man screaming about Donald Trump shuts down half of Times Square

New Yorkers are notoriously jaded, so it takes something pretty bizarre to hold their attention for an extended period of time.

But a naked, 20-year-old man screaming about Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump for an hour Thursday morning did it.

The unidentified naked man climbed an outdoor red staircase in Times Square that is a popular tourist attraction, according to Det. Martin Speechley of the New York Police Department. He stood on the edge of it — about 15 feet from the ground — and started shouting repeatedly starting at 7:30 a.m.

“Donald Trump where are you, Donald Trump where the f--- are you?” the man said, according to the New York Post. Trump has a scheduled appearance in New Hampshire on Thursday.

He also said he loved fashion, that he’s a virgin and he loves his mother.

Speechley confirmed that the man was “acting erratically” but said he couldn’t confirm any particulars that the man said.

The man appears to spit and shout at the officers in the video and continuously tries to avoid the giant airbag that has been blown up on the pavement below.

Speechley said the incident lasted about an hour. A large portion of Times Square appeared to be shut down in the video during the situation.

The man eventually runs past the officers and jumps off, landing on the pavement and not the airbag.

Speechley said he was taken to the hospital with injuries but is in stable condition. He said the man’s mental condition will be evaluated and charges are possible.
