The Treasure Valley’s economy will slowly improve as the number of new jobs grows, said speakers at the Boise chamber’s Economic Outlook Forum.
Idaho residents who don’t have jobs may not see it, but the recession is truly over, economist John Church told members of the Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce Thursday.
“The economy is crawling forward,” he said. “It doesn’t feel good, but it’s over.”
Church was among five speakers who shared good news about the Valley’s economy and job growth during the chamber’s annual Economic Outlook Forum at the Boise Centre.
