Baghdad
-- 4 civilians were injured when mortar shells fell in Al Adil neighborhood west Baghdad at 11am.
-- A woman was injured when an IED explosion targeted an Iraqi army patrol near Um Al Tobol mosque in Yarmouk neighborhood west north Baghdad at 1pm.
-- Two civilians were injured when an IED exploded under a bus in Al Iskan neighborhood at 10:00 a.m.
-- One civilian was killed and three were injured when mortar shells fell in Al Amil neighborhood at 1 p.m.
-- Two Iraqi national police members were injured after clashes with gunmen in Al Amil neighborhood at 1 p.m.
-- Police found 10 dead bodies all over Baghdad. The detailed locations are as follows: Dora 3, Baia 1, Al Amil 1, Mansour 1, Hurriya 1, Kadhimiya 1, Taji 1, Saidiya 1.
Salah ad Din
-- A source in the Iraqi police said that two policemen were killed and other 9 were wounded in an attack launched by insurgents on Hay Al Tamim police station in Biji city north of Baghdad. The source added that Iraqi security forces imposed a curfew in the city after the incident. Itís to be mentioned that the insurgents blew up a communication tower belonging to Asia Cell phone company which stopped the communication inside the city.
Basra city
-- the information office of Basra police directorate said that special missions force arrested an insurgent suspected to be a member of al Qaida organization. The man is Iraqi arrested in Al Asmaíie neighborhood west Basra city after he returned back Syria.
-- A source in Basra police directorate said that Basra police found today different ammunition in different places in the city including 189 mortar shells north Basra and 91 mortar shells east Basra.
-- The spokesman of the MNF in the south said that two British bases were attacked, the first one is Al Saíie base in the center of Basra city and the second base is Shat Al Arab hotel 10 KMs north Basra city. The spokesman said that no casualties were recorded.
