Baghdad- Around 3.30 pm of Friday afternoon only minutes after lifting the Friday curfew, random clashes took place at Al-Rashad neighborhood (east Baghdad) .An American patrol came nearby and a civilian was killed accidentally by an American fire.

- At dawn , an American squad had a raid on Sadr city ( east Baghdad) .Clashes took place there that led to have helicopters to give help and hit some targets killing 4 people and injuring 6 others with destroying some houses and burning few cars.

- Around 2.30 of Saturday afternoon, mortars hit Abu Disheer neighborhood (south Baghdad) injuring four people.

- Around 4 pm , mortars hit Doura neighborhood at Abu Disheer ( west Baghdad) injuring 4 people. - Around 4.30 pm, mortars hit Doura neighborhood at Abu Disheer Siha flats ( west Baghdad) injuring another 4 people.

Around - (16 dead bodies were found in Baghdad in the following neighborhoods : 15 dead bodies were found in west Baghdad( Karkh bank) ; 5 in Amil , 2 in Shulaa , 2 in Doura , 2 in Bayaa , 1 in Khadra'a , 1 in Ghazaliya , 1 in Saidiya and 1 in Taji.

While only one dead body was found in east Baghdad( Risafa bank) in Jisr Diyala .

Diyala ( 66 km north of Baghdad)

- Around 9 pm of Friday night, Iraqi police had a raid on Al-Mafraq neighborhood ( west Baquba city) having five terrorists in custody ( including a leader of Al-Qaeda who was carrying a bomb in hand during the raid ).And at the same neighborhood but in a different place ,police found 17 stolen cars ( governmental cars) including an ambulance and a fuel tanker . Also a squad of explosives in police was able to neutralize two road side bombs.

- Two unidentified bodies were found in Kan'an village (21 km south of Baquba) and Muqdadiya ( 36 km north east Baquba , medical source said on Saturday morning from Baquba hospital as the bodies are sent to the morgue of the hospital.

- Around Saturday morning, clashes took place between gunmen who were trying to assassinate the Imam and orator of the great Khalis mosque in Khalis village (16 km north of Baquba) and the guards ,the prayers and then the police . Three gunmen from the attacking group were killed while 7 people (from guards and prayers) and two policemen were injured.

- Around the mid-day of Saturday, a roadside bomb targeted a civilian car near Khalouf village north of Bani Sa'ad (south of Baquba) killing two people.

- Around 9.30 am , a suicide bomber made his way through a queue of new recruiters to police at Muqdadiya ( 36 km north east of Baquba) and explode himself with vest which was filled with explosives killing three of them and injuring 34 others.

- Around mid-day, mortars hit Bihrz village ( 6 km south of Baquba) injuring one resident who is 70 years old.

- Around mid-day, gunmen exploded three roadside bombs in front of a house at Belad Rouz ( 40 km east of Baquba) which belongs to a policeman having only some damage to the house. - Around mid-day , gunmen opened fire in Khalis ( 16 km north of Baquba) injuring three ( a policeman, a child and a man).

- Around Saturday afternoon, a child was injured by a sniper shot in Blour in Muqdadiya ( 36 km north east Baquba).

Kikuk ( 255 km north of Baghdad)

- Around 12.15 pm, an armed group attacked a car whose passenger was Sirwan Ghazi , the member of Daquq municipality ( south of Kirkuk ) and the supervisor of the service projects in the city, while he was on his way between Kirkuk and Daquq using machine guns and grenades . He was killed at once . Police chased the group and arrest them .They are in custody with their weapons .Also the dead person is a member of KDP ( Kurdstan Democratic Party) .

Basra ( 549 km south of Baghdad)

- On Saturday morning, an armed group made an ambush near the former building of the directorate passports at Jazair neighborhood in Basra city for the colonel ( Nasir Ali) , the head of the detained affairs in the directorate Basra police , kidnapping him and he was taken to the unknown fate. This incident happened after one week of kidnapping and killing a general in the Iraqi army in Basra city.

- Around 1.30 pm of Saturday afternoon, gunmen opened fire on a captain( Dawood Salman) of interior commandos battalion of Basra border guards academy at Jamiat neighborhood ( west Basra) killing him at once .
