Baghdad- A civilian was killed and 4 others wounded in a parked car bomb explosion targeted the civilians near Al Minhaniyah swimming pool in Al Amil neighborhood south west Baghdad around 8,00 am.

- Gunmen killed the director manager of the vegetarian oil company Hussein Edan Umran. The incident happened in Al Shaab neighborhood north Baghdad around 11,00 am.

- Around 11,00 am, an IED explosion targeted a US army convoy in Kamb Sara neighborhood north Baghdad. Police said that a Hummer vehicle was destroyed and an American soldier was killed in the explosion.

- 5 civilians were killed and 15 others wounded in a parked car bomb explosion targeted the civilians near Al Rasheed fuel station south Baghdad around 12,00 pm.

- 2 civilians were killed and 5 other injured in an IED explosion in Nahrawan district south east Baghdad around 12,20 pm.

The following incidents happened after 4 pm.

- 3 children were injured when a mortar shell hit Al Nahrawan district south east Baghdad.

- A civilian was injured by American army fire in Al Shaab neighborhood north Baghdad. Another civilian was injured by another US army force in Talbiyah neighborhood east Baghdad.

- Gunmen opened fire trying to kill the director of the ministers council directorate Nashwan Abbas Abdul Ameer. The incident happened in Doura neighborhood south Baghdad.

- A woman was killed and a man was injured when the American helicopters bombed Arab Jboor neighborhood south Baghdad.

- 21 anonymous bodies were found in Baghdad today. 17 bodies were found in Karkh, the western side of Baghdad in the following neighborhoods (6 bodies in Amil, 3 bodies in Bayaa, 3 bodies in Doura, 3 bodies in Washash, 2 bodies in Ghazaliyah. 4 bodies were found in Rusafa, the western side of Baghdad in the following neighborhood (2 bodies in Sadr city, 1 body in Sadoon and 1 body in Shaab).

Sulaimaniyah

- The bodies of 2 Kurdish young men were delivered to their families in Klar town south of Sulaimaniyah province today. The two men were killed in Baghdad while they were in their way to start their new job in Baghdad airport.

Basra

- A woman was killed when a mortar shell hit her house in Hakimiyah neighborhood downtown Basra city early morning today.

Diyala.

- 3 civilians were killed and a fourth man was injured when gunmen attacked Al Hay Al Askari in Muqdadiyah town north east Baquba today afternoon.

- Gunmen opened fire killing a civilian and injuring another in Khalis town north of Baquba today afternoon.
