Baghdad
29 people wounded in explosion of a parked car bomb in central Baghdad, not far from Tayaran Sq. at about 1:00 pm.
A road side bomb targeted Iraqi army vehicle in Jamiaa. 4 soldiers were killed and 3 others were injured.
A mortar shell landed in Mahmoudiyah. 4 civilians were injured.
A mortar shell landed in Shuala. 4 civilians were injured.
A mortar shell landed in Zafaraniyah. 2 civilians were injured.
A road side bomb targeted Iraqi police in Doura. 2 policemen were injured.
Police found 25 dead bodies throughout Baghdad. 5 in Kadhemiya, 3 in Jeafir, 3 in Shuala, 2 in Yarmouk, 2 in Bayaa, 2 in Doura, 1 in Mansour, 2 in Sadr, 2 in Shaab, 1 in Palestine St, 2 in UR.
Sulaimaniyah
One person killed in Kafri district, 150 km south of Sulaimaniyah and one woman injured in Bawa Khushen village 70 km south of Sulaimaniyah by celebratory fire during celebrations for winning the Asia football cup, yesterday.
Fallujah
One woman killed and both her children injured along with one man and a young boy also injured in mortar attack upon Nuab al-Dhubbat district, north Falluja.
One policeman was stabbed by unknown person and taken to hospital.
