The daily Iraq violence report is complied by McClatchy Newspapers Special Correspondents in Baghdad from police, military and medical reports. This is not a comprehensive list of all violence in Iraq, much of which goes unreported. It's posted without editing as transmitted to McClatchy's Washington Bureau. Baghdad - Around 6am, a roadside exploded at Baladiyat neighborhood (east Baghdad).No casualties reported. - Around 7:30 am, a suicide car bomb targeted an Iraqi army headquarter in Maysloon square in Ghadeer neighborhood (east Baghdad) .Four were killed (including two civilians)and 10 were injured (including 4 civilians). - Around 7:30 am, a roadside bomb exploded at Waziriya intersection (north Baghdad).Three people were injured in that incident. - Around 8 am, a roadside targeted a colonel’s car of MOI at Al-Rubaiyee intersection in Zayouna (east Baghdad) damaging his car only. - Around 11 am, a car bomb targeted a police patrol at Bab Al-Muatham (north east Baghdad). Twelve were killed (including one soldier) and injuring 46 others (including 4 soldiers). Salahuddin - In the morning , a joint forces found 18 dead bodies at Al-Sada area near Al-Falluja intersection (25 km south west Samarra) . - Yesterday night, a truck bomb exploded at Huaish area(7 km west of Samarra) killing 7 and injuring 9 others. - Mortars hit Suleiman Beck check points (7 km south Tuz Khurmatu ) .One Iraqi soldier was killed in that incident. Mosul - In the morning , a car bomb exploded at Isdayra village on the left bank of Shurqat .Two policemen were killed and two civilians injured in that explosion. Basra - In the morning , gunmen riding three pick up cars opened the fire of their machine guns on the head inspector of Nasiriah , Colonel Qasim Abid Fuleih , killing with three policemen were with him at the green grocery market in Basra city. - Yesterday night, two British missiles hit Shoala area (9 km west of Basra city) killing two people (one woman and a girl)and four children were injured in that indirect attack.
