Baghdad
Two civilians were killed and thirteen others were injured by a bomb in Taji area north of Baghdad around 8:30 a.m.
Eight people were injured including five policemen by a roadside bomb that targeted a police patrol in Shaab neighborhood in north Baghdad around 1:00 p.m.
police found one unidentified body in Talbiyah neighborhood in east Baghdad.
Diyala
Gunmen assassinated Sheikh Omar Raddam Getan; one of the Sheikhs of Azza tribe on Monday evening. The gunmen set a fake checkpoint in al Ain village north of Baquba city.
