Nineveh
Gunmen, on foot, attacked and killed a civilian while he was shopping in al Zinjeeli commercial centre in western Mosul, Tuesday morning. Early investigations showed that he was the father of two policemen.
Diyala
Nidhal Abboud Shayir, a young, female suicide bomber wearing an explosive vest was suspected and captured just outside an Iraqi Police checkpoint in the main open air market in the centre of Muqdadiyah, a town to the east of Baquba Monday afternoon. Her intention was to detonate as soon as she was inside the checkpoint said Iraqi Police.
