Baghdad
A roadside bomb exploded in Doura neighborhood, southern Baghdad around 6 a.m. Sunday. No casualties were reported.
A roadside bomb exploded in Jihad neighborhood, western Baghdad around 6 a.m. Sunday. No casualties were reported.
A mortar round hit the Green Zone around 6 a.m. Sunday. No casualties were reported. And another mortar hit the Green Zone around 3 p.m. again with no casualties reported.
Basra
A hand grenade targeted a U.S. military convoy on the main street of Jubaila neighborhood in central Basra on Sunday. No casualties were reported.
Wasit
A roadside bomb exploded in the town of Suwaira, 135 km to the north of Kut Saturday evening killing one civilian and injuring his wife.
Nineveh
- Police found unidentified dead body for a man in Al-Sukar neighborhood in eastern Mosul on Sunday morning.
- Around 10:30 p.m. insurgents kidnapped two guards of the general hospital in Shifaa neighborhood in western Mosul on Sunday. Their bodies were found in a distance minutes later.
Anbar
- Around 5:30 p.m. a roadside bomb targeted a police patrol in downtown Fallujah on Sunday. Three policemen were wounded with one car damaged.
