This is not a comprehensive list of all violence in Iraq, much of which goes unreported. It's posted without editing as transmitted to McClatchy's Washington Bureau.

Nineveh

Gunmen killed Tariq Ali Abbawi, amember of Hadbaa list in nineveh provencial council while he was leaving the mosque in Al-ekhaa neighborhood in east Mosul on Thursday evening.

On Thursday evening, a roadside bomb detonated on Mosul Bridge in downtown Mosul city targeting the convoy of Zuhair Al-araji, the district commissioner of Mosul killing two people including one of his guards and injuring four other guards.

A civilian was killed and an Iraqi soldier was injured by a roadside bomb in Al-muhandiseen neighborhood on Friday afternoon.
