Baghdad
A mortar round slammed into the Green Zone at around 9 a.m. Saturday. No casualties were reported.
Nineveh
A roadside bomb targeted civilians in New Mosul Street, Saturday, killing one little girl and severely injuring her brother and sister.
Gunmen assassinated a military serviceman on while on leave in central Mosul, Saturday.
Anbar
The man who was iseriously njured by fire from an American military convoy, Wednesday, for throwing his sandal at them, died in hospital, Thursday.
A roadside bomb targeted a U.S. military convoy in al Sichir area, 3 km to the north of Fallujah before dawn, Saturday, destroying one military vehicle and causing some casualties, said Iraqi police. No comment was available from the U.S. military at time of publication.
Basra
Two jewelry shops owned by Sabian goldsmiths were robbed in Zubair market, western Basra, Saturday. Both goldsmiths were killed by gunmen using pistols fitted with silencers.
