Baghdad
A roadside bomb targeted a crowd of civilians near al Baydha cinema in New Baghdad neighbourhood, east Baghdad, at 4 p.m. Thursday, seriously injuring four young men.
A parked car bomb targeted the motorcade of MP Nedeem al Jabiri (who was not with the motorcade at the time) in al Wahda neighbourhood, Karrada, central Baghdad, at 6 p.m. Thursday. The explosion killed two civilian passers by and injured 10 others and caused material damages to nearby cars and shops.
A roadside bomb targeted a federal police patrol in Mahdiyah, Doura, south Baghdad, at 8.30 p.m. Thursday injuring three policemen.
Sulaimaniyah
Gunmen opened fire and killed a civilian, Mohammed Abdullah on his doorstep in the city of Sulaimaniyah, Friday. Abdullah was 34 years old, an employee in the water department in Sulaimaniyah.
