Baghdad
Several home made bombs were left at the entrances of seven residential buildings in Baghdad, and detonated Tuesday morning, killing more than 30 civilians and injuring more than a hundred. Toll is expected to rise, said security officials, because rescue effort continue at the explosion sites in Chikook and Shula neighbourhoods, northwest Baghdad, Alawi al Hilla neighbourhood, central Baghdad, Shurta al Rabea and Amil neighbourhoods, southwest Baghdad and Allam neighbourhood, in south Baghdad.

Diyala
A magnetic bomb stuck to a civilian car detonated right behind the governorate building in central Baquba at 10.15 a.m. Tuesday, killing the driver and injuring three civilian pedestrians.
Basra
A roadside bomb targeted a police patrol on the main route into Shalamjah border point, the main border point with Iran in Basra, Monday, killing one police officer and injuring another five.
Wasit
Armed men broke into the house of one Ubaid Abdulhussein, al Askari neighbourhood in the town of Suwaira, and killed him, his wife and their four children, Monday.
