A roadside bomb planted under a traffic fly-over in al Ghadeer, northeast Baghdad, detonated, Thursday, targeting a police foot patrol injuring four policemen and two civilians.
A parked car bomb detonated in Shurta Rabaa neighbourhood, south Baghdad, targeting a store that sold alcoholic beverages at 6.30 p.m. Thursday. The explosion killed eight civilians and injured another 20.
A magnetic bomb was stuck to counter terrorism officer, Sadoun Seyid Qassim at 8 p.m. Thursday seriously injuring Qassim.
A roadside bomb targeted a U.S. military convoy in Hurriyah neighbourhood, northwest Baghdad at 10 p.m. Thursday. No casualties were reported.
Anbar
A roadside bomb targeted an Iraqi army patrol near Garma Bridge, in Garma, south Fallujah, Friday, injuring one pedestrian and destroying one civilian car and seriously injuring its driver and causing extensive damages to the army vehicle.
A roadside bomb targeted an Iraqi military convoy in the city of Heet, 180 km to the west of Baghdad, Thursday killing one serviceman and injuring another.
Nineveh
A roadside bomb targeted a police patrol in Tel al Rumman, west Mosul, Friday, killing a police officer and seriously injuring a policeman.
