Armed men raided a residential building in Dora, south Baghdad, at dawn, Monday, injuring two men and two women.
Two roadside bombs targeted a police patrol in Sheikh Omer neighbourhood, the main car-repair area in the centre of old Baghdad, Monday, killing two policemen and injuring four more.
A home made bomb that was stuck to the car of an intelligence officer, exploded in Harthiyah neighbourhood, central Baghdad, at around noon, Monday, killing the officer and injuring five civilian by standers.
Nineveh
A car bomb parked near an Iraqi army checkpoint in al Arabi neighbourhood, north Mosul, exploded Monday morning, seriously injuring one soldier.
One Iraqi soldier was killed and another injured while they were attempting to defuse a home made bomb that was planted by the pavement in 17 July neighbourhood, west Mosul late Sunday.
