The daily Iraq violence report is compiled by McClatchy Newspapers Special Correspondents in Baghdad from police, military and medical reports. This is not a comprehensive list of all violence in Iraq, much of which goes unreported. It's posted without editing as transmitted to McClatchy's Washington Bureau.

Baghdad

A roadside bomb targeted civilians in Dora neighbourhood, south Baghdad at 10 a.m. Saturday, injuring four.

A magnetic bomb that was stuck to the private car of an employee in the Shiite Endowment office, detonated in Meshtel neighbourhood, east Baghdad, Saturday, seriously injuring the employee and three civilian passers by.

Armed men stormed a house in Hameed village in Abu Ghraib district, 20 km west of Baghdad, Saturday and killed one of it's residents and seriously injured four others.

Armed men in a speeding car opened fire at three civilians walking down the street in the town of Yousifiyah, to the south of Baghdad, killing two and injuring the other.

Armed men attacked a checkpoint in Athamiyah, north Baghdad, Friday, injuring four civilians and two servicemen.

A roadside bomb targeted a Federal Police patrol in Ray neighbourhood, south Baghdad, Friday without causing any casualties.

A home made bomb was planted just outside the home of an officer in the police force, in Tarmiyah neighbourhood, northeast Baghdad, detonated, Friday, seriously injuring the officer.

Diyala

A home made bomb that was planted outside the home of a Ali Muhammed, a policeman in the local police force, in Abu Saida area, detonated early Saturday, causing material damages to the house and three neighbouring houses.

Anbar

Armed men stormed two adjacent houses in Garma neighbourhood, north Fallujah, Saturday. The two houses were occupied by one large family. The armed men killed three brothers and seriously injured the fourth, all of whom worked for the higher education ministry.

A roadside bomb targeted a police patrol in the main open air market in Garma neighbourhood, north Fallujah, Saturday, without causing any casualties.
