The shot of Rep. George Holding catching a "bit of bit of shut-eye while at the helm of the House of Representatives," as MSNBC put it -- came during an extended speech by Texas Republican Rep. Louie Gohmert, who was speaking "at length" about efforts to repeal Obamacare, MSNBC said.
It says that about 40 minutes into Gohmert’s address, "Holding is seen with his eyes closed, head propped up against one of his hands. He perks up and eyes the camera, before sitting up and readjusting in his chair. The camera then panned back to Gohmert, who spoke for another 20 minutes."
MSNBC notes that although C-SPAN "broadcast the cat nap, the cameras themselves are controlled from within the House."
