Republicans on Monday criticized President Barack Obama's decision to release his budget on March 4, a month late.
This will mark the 18th time the Obama administration has missed a budget deadline, according to the Republicans on the Senate Budget Committee.

The law requires Obama to deliver it the first Monday in February. But this year's will still be a month earlier than last year when it was sent April 10.
“Now that Congress has finished its work on this year’s appropriations, the administration is able to finalize next year’s budget,” said Steve Posner, a spokesman for the Office of Management and Budget, last week. “We are moving to complete the budget as quickly as possible to help Congress return to regular order in the annual budget process.”
Congress is still expected to largely ignore Obama's budget.
