Pelosi, who represents a San Francisco-based congressional district, is a Baltimore native. Her father and brother were mayors of the city. She'll also be joined Tuesday by Richard Trumka, AFL-CIO president, and Roslyn Brock, chairman of the NAACP Board of Directors.
Also invited is Eliseo Medina, international secretary-treasurer of the Service Employees International Union.
He leads the union's bid to have comprehensive immigration reform. He came to this country when he was 10 from Mexico with his mother and siblings to join their father, an immigrant farm worker.
