House Speaker John Boehner's still not pleased with the latest job news.
“While it’s good news that more Americans found work last month, there are still far too many asking the question, ‘Where are the jobs?" he asked in a statement Friday.
"They have been waiting more than five years for an answer from this president, and all he has offered is a disastrous health law that’s raising costs, hurting seniors, and making it harder for small businesses to hire."
Boehner, R-Ohio, then went through a list of what he termed President Barack Obama's lapses: "A failed energy policy that puts the vast majority of our offshore resources off limits, threatens to eliminate coal from our energy mix, and keeps a decision on the Keystone pipeline languishing. Another budget that spends too much, borrows too much, taxes too much, and fails to address the major drivers of our debt."
Among other things.
Boehner then cited legislation passed by the House of Representatives and still waiting for Senate action.
"The president should call on Senate Democrats to pass them, and help get more Americans back on their feet," Boehner said.
