President Barack Obama will travel to Jamaica and Panama April 8-11, White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest announced Wednesday.
In Jamaica, Obama will meet with leaders from the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) and Jamaican Prime Minister Portia Simpson-Miller about a variety of topics, including the administration's Caribbean Energy Security Initiative.
In Panama, Obama will participate with 34 other leaders in the Seventh Summit of the Americas as well as meet with with Panamanian President Juan Carlos Varela.
