WikiLeaks, an organization that is releasing thousands of leaked emails from the Hillary Clinton campaign, said Monday that its founder Julian Assange had his internet cut off by a “state party.”
They did not specify which country was involved.

Assange has been living in the Ecuadorean embassy in London since 2012 to avoid extradition to Sweden on a rape charge. He says Sweden will extradite him to the United States on espionage charges if he leaves the embassy.
His organization has released thousands of emails from Clinton campaign chair John Podesta in recent weeks, including transcripts of her speeches to Wall Street. Bernie Sanders demanded that Clinton should release the speech transcripts during the Democratic primary.
Podesta said Trump ally Roger Stone was given advance notice of the leaks to help Trump’s campaign. Stone denied the accusation.
Trump applauded the release of stolen emails that show Clinton in a negative light.
