For a few days this week, the streets of uptown Charlotte turned into a facsimile of the streets of New York. And not the quiet side streets of Manhattan. We’re talking Times Square-busy, Madison Avenue-crowded. From the Charlotte Convention Center to the Epicentre on College Street, on The Square at Trade and Tryon, even in a few sections of quiet Church Street, there were throngs of gawkers, hawkers, protesters and performers. There were even some who were all of those things at the same time. On Thursday, we took a walk through the continually changing show.
