U.S. Sen Pat Roberts appeared headed to re-election Tuesday, as Kansas remained steadfast Republican even as voters vented their frustration with Congress.
With about nearly half of precincts reporting, Roberts opened led indpendent Greg Orman 51 percent to 44 percent. Those results looked to narrow when final results poured in from Johnson county, but Orman’s path to victory looked beyond reach.
