It’s Hillary Clinton by a landslide among New Hampshire Democrats.
Roughly a year before the state hosts the nation’s first presidential primary, a new WMUR/Granite State Poll found 58 percent of likely Democratic primary voters say they would vote for the former Secretary of State. Clinton won the 2008 primary over Barack Obama.
No one else comes close. Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts, who has said she is not running, got 14 percent. Among others: Vice President Joe Biden, 8 percent, Sen. Bernard Sanders, a Vermont independent, 6 percent, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, 2 percent, and former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley and former Sen. Jim Webb of Virgina, tied at 1 percent.
“Hillary Clinton remains the most popular Democratic candidate by a wide margin,” a poll analysis said.
Among Democrats, more than four in five viewed her favorably while 9 percent saw her unfavoraby.
Warren was also seen favorably, with a net favorability rating, the percentage who have a favorable opinion minus those who have an unfavorable opinion, of 44 percent.
