Donald Trump, the Republican presidential front-runner, unleashed a new attack on Hillary Clinton, using Instagram to unveil a spot that looks to bring up her husband’s past sexual peccadilloes, along with others.
Featuring a voiceover of Hillary Clinton talking about women’s rights, the “Hillary and Her Friends” clip flashes pictures of Bill Clinton with White House intern Monica Lewinsky and of Hillary Clinton standing with former Rep. Anthony Weiner and comedian Bill Cosby.
It closes with the words “True Defender of Women’s Rights.” The video comes as Trump looks to amp up Republican support by reminding voters of the former president’s past and questioning whether his wife should be held accountable. Trump, who has bragged about spending little money and still topping the polls, paid little to nothing for the clip, but it got airtime.
