It's time to move beyond the Rep. Joe Wilson "You lie" controversy and refocus Congress' efforts on getting a workable overhaul of our broken health care system.
Wilson, R-S.C., rudely interrupted President Obama's speech on health care last week by shouting "You lie." He apologized and the president accepted it. Now the House of Representatives has formally admonished Wilson.
We say enough of this bickering over Joe Wilson. He has had more television time than his remark warrants. Fighting over this statement, which is rather trivial considering the enormity of health care reform, is the kind of thing Congress does when it doesn't want to deal with the substance of an issue.
